Kacy Combs

CEO & National Director

Growing up in the Washington, DC, area, Kacy Combs was fortunate to find dance at the age of 15. He then chose to continue his education at Towson University in Baltimore, MD, earning a BFA in Dance Performance. After college, Kacy moved on to dancing and teaching professionally in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and even internationally. Having worked for such companies as Gus Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago, Paul Mitchell, Fox Family Channel, and Chicago Symphony Orchestra. He has also worked with such stars as, Dru Hill, Jenny Garth (90210), Julio Iglesias, Montell Jordan, N'SYNC, Ultra Nate', and many more. Kacy was also featured in People Magazine and on the hit VH1 show DRIVEN: N'SYNC. His teaching and choreography credits include NBA Halftime Entertainment, Radio Disney, ACDF, Grand Productions, Art Aid, Dance Masters of America, The Gus Giordano Dance Center, Wichita State University, and WILD Dance Intensive, as well as countless studios and companies throughout the US and Canada.

For the last 19 years, he was the National Director of one of the Largest Talent Competitions in North America, building it from scratch from the very beginning. Being one of a very select few competition directors in the country who has worked every single job a competition business has to offer. For over 30 years, Kacy has worked as a registration personnel, backstage manager, set-up crew/ roadie, announcer, MC, Judge, teacher, and, yes, even for 12 years, a studio director. These unique skill sets have given Kacy the opportunity to know exactly what you want and expect out of your events.
By far, the most important job Kacy has is as a father. As a parent, he knows and understands how important your children are and how the competition experience can help their development as dancers and young people.

With Driven Talent Competition, we plan to reimagine the competition experience and take the industry by storm.
